Alicia Kokemor Rossow and Advanced Pediatric Therapy: A Passion for Healing

Alicia Kokemor Rossow is a talented and highly experienced speech pathologist working in Round Rock, Texas. Her training began at the University of Texas at Austin, where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in 1990 and her Master’s of Arts in 1992. That same year, she received her Certificate of Clinical Competence for speech language pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).

After working for several years with adults and children, Alicia Kokemor Rossow, M.A., CCC-SLP realized that her passion lay in the field of pediatric speech pathology. Alicia Kokemor Rossow began her practice in Round Rock in order to better serve the community and the children who benefit from her help.

Her practice, Advanced Pediatric Therapy, treats children with fluency, articulation, and language disorders as well as children with autism and Down syndrome.  The practice can provide a sliding scale fee for families or patients who would not otherwise be able to afford private speech therapy services. Alicia KokemorRossow and the other therapists at Advanced Pediatric treat children of all ages, from 14 months up to 17 years old.

The approach used by the practice is very family oriented; the therapists work with the parents as much as possible so that children can improve their speech as quickly and efficiently as possible. Alicia Kokemor Rossow ensures each session with the child is one-on-one so that the child has the sole attention of the therapist working with them and can get the greatest benefits from each session.
